Meet the Team

We are a close-knit team of Scottish creatives looking to make our mark on the independent film industry.

Based in Glasgow.

Sean Langdon

Director. Writer.

Cinematographer. Editor.

Sean Langdon is an independent filmmaker and film educator based in Glasgow, and a co-founder of Screaming Unicorn. Holding an MA in Filmmaking from the University of the West of Scotland, he has filmed, edited, and directed over fifteen short films ranging from horror to international documentaries.

Currently, Sean is employed at GMAC Film and the Global Academy, where he is focused on expanding opportunities for and educating filmmakers in Glasgow and beyond.

Emma Sinclair

Actor. Director.

Writer. Producer.

Emma Sinclair is an independent writer, director, actor, producer, and co-founder of Screaming Unicorn. A graduate of the University of the West of Scotland with a BA (Hons) in Performance, she has written, directed, and starred in numerous short films with the company.

Her work was most recently recognised at the Edinburgh 48 Hour Film Project 2025, where she won Best Writing and Best Ensemble Acting. Her films have also been featured at film festivals around the world, including Nevermore, Romford Horror, and the BIFA-qualifying Sunrise Film Festival.
